Storyboard:

Original storyboard description:
Scene 1: Camera tracks up the body of the bear. Almost goes past weirdly human eyeball. At the last second, the eyeball moves.
Scene 2: Eyeball moves and camera zooms in. Eye sees ground and widens. It wants to jump (don't we all)!
Scene 3: Eyeball looks around quickly and tries to wiggle out of the eye socket. Tries really hard, then finally, pop.
Scene 4: Eyeball bounces to the ground.
Scene 5: Eyeball tries to bounce away, but eye tendon thing is too short. Eye tugs at it.
Scene 6: Eyeball pulls really hard and tendon begins to rip. Finally, it breaks completely and the scene goes black.
Edited storyboard description:
It ended up being a bit difficult to animate the muscle I created in Maya, so I modified the story a bit.
Scene 5: Eyeball bounces away with purpose
Scene 6: Eyeball stops mid bounce (anticipation), looks down, around, and back at empty socket. Realizes that it is disconnected from the socket (camera zooms in on bloody socket) and scene goes black. Whoops, little eyeball.
Animation Principles:
Squash and Stretch
Staging

Exaggeration
Other fun details:
