Completed 2/17

This first video was created by strictly following a beginners Maya tutorial.

This adaptation of the tutorial forces us to think with the creativity of children. Perhaps a bit morbid, we see an eyeball-like sphere popping out from the face - immature, child-like humor? Or maybe this piece forces us to consider the position of children in our society - are they the center of our universe? Alternatively, what of the importance of sensory experiences? Do we depend too much on sight? Without sight, does this piece even exist? Would we even have discovered the surrounding solar system and universe without sight? So many messages are communicated through the elements of this short but thought-provoking animation.
